Polygonal supports

Advantages of supports made of bent roll-formed sections:

- Big wire suspension height that allows increasing the overall span and reducing the supports number in a line;

- Possible installation in soft ground without any impact on the lower wire suspension height;

- Lower weight - approximately, three times lighter for 1 kilometer of HV lines as compared with a reinforced-concrete support, that results in the lower transportation expenses;

- Lower operating costs due to the high resistance to damage while transportation and rigging.
